Our staff is here to enhance the skills that your daughter already has.

Taurell  Nicole Butts is a community activist, child advocate, and the CEO of Successful Women Achieving Goals, Inc. She believes in the concept “together we can” and takes the motto wherever she may go. Taurell’s dedication and compassion for people has enabled her to create and sustain valuable relationships with people in her community. With her relationships, she has been able to grow her social media presence to have a positive impact online.

Child Advocacy
In 2013, Taurell turned her pain into passion and purpose. She decided to make it her life’s mission to help children that were victims of abuse and rape as she was once a victim herself. During Taurell’s time in college, her law professor and one of her peers spoke about helping victims of abuse and rape, which sparked courage and strength in her. In 2013, she decided to take on the role and responsibility as a Child Advocate for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) national association. Though her first case was challenging, she won Advocate of the Month for her dedication and resilience. After four years, Taurell decided to relocate to Delaware County Pennsylvania and has been there ever since.

Taurell is the founder of the non-profit organization Successful Women Achieving Goals, Inc. The organization helps at risk young women, 7-19 years old, in Philadelphia excel in life and become positive role models to their peers. Young women in the program receive free mentoring, workshops, tutoring, educational trips, college prep classes, and so much more. Since the organization’s founding in 2013, Taurell has witnessed all of her high school students get accepted into college, improvement in the younger women’s social skills, and her staff grow tremendously.

Community Activist
Taurell is not only a child activist and a CEO, but she is a community activist as well. Over her career tenure, she has initiated numerous community service projects by collaborating with various organizations throughout Philadelphia. Taurell’s projects include feeding the homeless, organizing a clothing and shoes drive, giving away prom packages to high school girls, and hosting back-to-school events for students in Philadelphia. She has also assisted with political campaigns for local legislators and judges, to name a few.
